I haven’t taken off the 243 since the trade. I’ve just been trying different straps. Everything looks so good on this reference.
Today I put it on this awesome sea washed leather strap from ST.
In the strap freaks thread we talked about how straps often look different when advertised vs when they show up. I remember debating between this strap or a darker brown one with a chocolate tone. I am so glad I got this one because it looks so good on so many references. in the sun, this rich cherry tone comes out while In the shade, you see a deep warm brown color. The scaring also gives it so much character and The stitching matches the lume nicely.
Today I’m in love with this combo.
Sorry for the long winded strap “review”. This is why my friends are now afraid to say “oh nice strap today”. Lol.
