Mainly its just staying in touch or in contact with my shop. It's more all about the Mrs.
I love the new England area and Boston in General around the summer because there really is so much to do. I can be like a tourist everyday and there's plenty to do.
Also, For some strange reason, and I have no idea what or why this is, and I dare not mention it because I feel like if I bring it to her attention, it will change. But if we go 'on vacation' she always gives me a hard time about working.
If we just casually go to NH or the cape or do something around Boston (regardless of what we call it. Even if we call it a vacation) she doesn't give me shit about working at all. It's weird.
With that... Still testing the 1661. Today on a blue Simona (26) museum stap.

Yeah I love the egg patina! Wear her well Mr Logan
Having used ammonia ( and sometimes combined with chlorine ) to archive patina in the past I find “the egg” to be the superior fumes receptor. It grants the watch a red-ish, ocean rust, color. Uneven but authentic. I see from the patina that the case and insert are of different bronze material as they reach in different ways.
Interesting to see how the watch looks in 30 - 90 days.
