The latest scoop on B&R?

Some of you seem to have access to all sorts of interesting info from dealers/factories, so here's my question: I want a 42mm B&R instrument series--that new olive green military version on the B&R web site with the olive green fabric strap. I remember reading a couple of months ago here that rumour had it that it was being repped. Any updates?

Secondly, I want it in an 'ultimate' version with a swiss movement, and ideally with lumed hands. Surely there must be demand for this. Surely some factory could do this. Is it coming? Any news? Speaking of swiss movements (why do I always think of Heidi taking a dump when I say that  ), why can't we get the orange dial, or the white, 42mm with the swiss movement. You can get the blue dial with one--but it isn't my cup of tea.

Should I just give up or is my heart's desire, like a bus, just about to come around the corner?

Last I heard you cant get a swiss auto in ANY of the B&R reps. It just wont fit. I think some are coming with asian 2813's, but I may be wrong.

No Swiss in BR reps. The lume on the white hands has been and always will be sub-par. The colored blue and orange hands have no lume. You have to get then done your self. Search posts here by me. I had my BR 01-92 Orange lumed and it looks great.

No news on the military green dial version. again, it's looking like a do it yourself project that I am considering once I get my own BR stuff done.

You have BR03 with SWISS ETA in puretime web. You can choose different movements on it (CN2813, ETA copy and SWISS ETA 2836).
At least this is what you can choose...true or not I don't know, maybe you can ask Angus about it

I prefer the 01- series.I like the size and the JPL pilots at NASA all are issued BR 01's. If the 03 comes in ETA, it;'s a possibiity for me, and since the caeback needs no mod, it's a blessing. The 42 mm size is what kept me off but a diffference of 4 mm is not much so it's worth another look.

On a side note, considering I had a real good year, I find I wam treating myself better and the Gen's are in the works for a BR and a PAM. Im not "quitting reps just shifting my collections "rep density".

I saw that King is offering the olive "military" 03-92. This is sure to be a hot seller. The only apparent flaw from the pics appears to be green screws on the dial instead of pvd. Anyone with info?

I've been in contact with King on these. They are currently available, but only with a black rubber strap. There was interest over at RG for the watch but only with the Olive nylon strap. Apparently he is inquiring with the factory to see if it can be made.

Just checked the olive B&R at King Watch. They look great! I do want that green fabric strap, though. Also, I looked for King Watch on the list of trusted dealers but he doesn't seem to be there. Am I missing something....?

I must clarify! I don't have an example of the watch. I just followed the link from the earlier response to 'King Watch' and saw it there. Again, I'd be grateful to find out King Watch's reputation since I don't see that name on the list of 'trusted dealers'. I'd also be reeeeealy interested to hear from someone who has the watchand can review it!

Well it would seem Ufanta is selling the engraved back for $69.00, the best deal yet. The dial has poor luje but that can be remedied.

King watch is a registered dealer over at RG. Never had a problem with him.

I'm still waiting on the Silix "mystery" movement for his case version of the B&R. I think today I will take pictures of it and hopefully some guru can ID it.

So is there any news on BR's with the correct caseback screws (01-92)

I saw a few in stainless but the BR to me looks best in PVD.
