Just so you know, that's the spacer for between the dial and movement, not the one for between the movement and the case.

Made that mistake before, lol.
haha, yep! :) Thank you dude. I have a nice plastic 2671 movement cradle too for the gen case. Considering a little spacer because I'm Just really keen to get a nicely working DWO this week.

@dpd3672 I should have called it a dial spacer, not movement spacer, to be a bit clearer. It's on it's way to me. Also I ordered a two tone 13mm jubilee bracelet from Aliexpress because I found Riyi's recent two tone 13mm jubilee had a too short width.

If you're patient, you can often get a gen Oyster or Jubilee bracelet for $100 or even less on Ebay. They're the older style, with folded links (sometimes riveted), but correct for most of these 26mm cases.

Yes, please!
Yay thank you for letting me share!

This is my modded 31mm DJ with white MOP

Mods included:

best base watch 2100CNY
sw custom dial 2200CNY
moissanite 600 CNY
rg plating 1700CNY
CNc bezel 450 CNY
deepcrystal 400CNY
Whole Watch Polishing 350CNY
Movement Silence 250CNY
Waterproof 300CNY

I think it looks pretty good. My only minor issue is that the cyclops looks a bit crooked (right side looks higher). I do love the gold color. Please let me know what you think.

This is the base watch before mods.

I think the RG thicker replating and moissanite stones are much better. The MOP Im not sure. It looked really nice in the base watch and maybe less luminous on the new but its hard to tell with pics so I asked for a video. :)

You know I love this watch to pieces!
What does SW custom dial mean please? or what does SW stand for so I may look into it a little please? I assumed it was the same dial used in both cases and that maybe the modder had upgraded your stones only, by some magic. I find it a little difficult to see which mods have been made individually. But whatever happened to this watch, together, it's resulted in a watch with which looks fabulous imo.

or less 'low cost' more 'well considered', I guess. A nice amount to spend on a beautiful modern six digit watch. I wish I knew more about this Aman modder chap to understand what mods he's done etc.

It was about $1100-$1200 for the build. If I can get a gen for that I would pass out from happiness haha!

I will clarify more of the terms McDuck. I also do not know what SW means. I was like give me all the mods! Lmao.

Aman is someone who was recommended to me on Reddit. I haven’t seen much of his work on RWI. But I am happy with it so far! Just needs to fix the tilted cyclops :p

Cant wait to get it and share some modshots!

I understand now that the new MOP dial may possibly have less of the MOP effect we saw on the original watch stock dial. Howevz, I'm hoping that when you see how the new stones might dance -especially under artificial light at a restaurant for example- it will make up for the lack of MOP and you'll be thrilled to pieces with it regardless of the background colour. Who knows. It's very exciting. I wonder if your modder will send you the original dial too, if you'd ask for it. You'd paid for it after all.

(2671 movement build)

Wow! Tonight I learnt the importance of using really fantastic tape instead of dial dots or epoxy etc.
I ordered an ebay item labelled as the below:

'3M 1mm x 50M Double Sided Extremly Strong Tape adhesive For Mobile Phone LCD'

So for a 2671 build, you can cut short strips of the double sided tape and place them along every part of the datewheel to secure a dwo beautifully. It's such an awesomely thin tape in height, and yet clears all rims of the 2671 beautifully. A single layer applied to every part of the 2671 datedisc is fab.
Then you can add as many as 3 layers in height of the same tape to the movement centre to secure the dial, and the datewheel doesn't touch the dial at all, dates snap beautifully, and yet hands can be applied with lots of room on the pinion. FINALLY!

Awesome things are happening at last. Next time my environment is bright and sunny I'll complete this build at last.
The movement holder I used and modified with a dremel is from a gorgeous 20 buck ebay case. Things are looking great.
Let's finish this first one at last..!

Yes I hope that too - that irl itll sparkle like MOP does. He will send the old dial back to me as well. :)

@Sunry I don't know of anybody who completed a 31mm franken here on RWI, other than crystal or bezel swaps only. You came in here and showed us all what can be achieved! So awesome. I'm so excited for you.
