I hope it is cheaper. There are too many new 'super' reps charging a premium these days that have only asian movements imo.

lol no way takashi they sell _THE_ new super rep for 480$ with a eta 7750....

this is insane... NO WAY remeber.. they sold the SFSO with eta 2824 (which is like 70$ in bulk orders ) for like 308$ + shipping

ETA7750 is not that expensive. Even on retail, I can find it for 250USD odd, shipped.

Thanks, good to know... I want some reps lasting for some years for the future too... but still I am buying the low end crap... what has until now a 100% return rate! (broken movement, broken bezel, shittydial and bezel)

I remember sharing with you the first time you are disappointed with reps. Go for Swiss ETA movement

Next rep.. but paying more 100$ more ONLY for ETA seems not worth it to me sometimes... i can replace the asian movement every 2 years when it dies... and 2 of the problems i had with reps were not with the movement!

important if you go for asian movement is that it should have the correct vbh.. and the asian PO has... well.. back to iwc...

Very well made IWC reps so far are Ingenieur SS and GST Chrono Ti.

Portuguese and Ingenieur Chrono fall short on the movement. I don't know how this one will turn out... Certainly price is not right if 480USD comes with Asian 7750.
