Hello guys, I bought a Omega 300m MK version last year. To be specific it's this version: Seamaster 300M SS MK 1:1 Best Edition Blue Dial Blue Ceramic Bezel on SS Bracelet A2824.
I don't think they make them anymore, atleast I can't find it. All I can find is V2 and V3 of this watch and now it's MKS instead of MK(F)

So my escape helium valve just disappeared all of the sudden :/
I've been wearing this watch for like a year now, and I haven't even touched the escape helium valve and it just disappeared somehow... It looks like it has been screwed loose.
Is there a cheap replacement for this? :(

Here is some pictures (sorry for the bad quality)

Is it hard to re-attach the HE valve part to the watch again?
Do I have to open the whole watch? Or can I just screw it back again?

I know that JB weld is an option, but I'm just wondering if there is an "non messier way" :)

Same thing happened to my Planet Ocean a few months ago. Was able to get a spare valve from PureTime.

It was easy enough to re-attach. The part PureTime sent actually had the entire shaft that fit inside the watch, but I only needed the 'cap'. There was a screw at the bottom of the shaft - once that was undone, I was able to remove the cap and put it on the old shaft that was still sticking out of the side of the watch. I secured it with Loctite (not JB Weld, just in case I ever wanted th properly waterproof the watch in future) and it's on tight enough that I can't loosen it by hand now. I'll probably still be able to get it off with some needle nose pliers wrapped in cloth if I ever need to, though.

Just had a look and found the QC image for the valve. Might be able to help you visualise it a bit better. Note the shaft/stem sticking out of the back of the cap - that's the bit I didn't need.
