If you land in a greenside bunker here is what you do:
1) Open your stance/body to the target. Open the club face as well.
2) Have the ball forward in your stance.
3) Use your wrists early in your take-away. Pick the club up steep. Don't grip too tight.
4) Hit 1" to 2" behind the ball with a steep downswing and let the explosion of sand lift the ball out.
Practice with a low finish and high finish. You should see a difference in the amount of roll/release you get.
