The "Franken" Day-Date Carrera

Hi guys,

I've adored and wanted the day date carrera for some time now and the reps available on the market (luckily) are quite exceptional.

Everybody is aware of the flaws though

- The dreaded BLUE SCREWS
- The incorrect Date wheel
- Geneva stripping on the rotor

I've wanted to buy one and mod it to fix all of the above, but simply I wouldn't know where to start.

So the questions I have for you lot are...

Where can I buy 7750 silver screws?
" " " a gen rotor?
" " " a gen date wheel?

Is it just the luck of eBay or are there specialist dealers here in the UK?

I'm just about to order the Day Date from Trusty Time... So any help would be massive!

the most tell for these is not blue screw. but its the dial and the AR. I have both rep and gen for carrera day date chrono 43mm black.

another tell is the red needle is dark red, while the gen is bright red (a bit orange).
