Stumbled across this little gem today..
In love with the burgundy numerals on cream dial. Imagine this piece on a burgundy hornback!!! ? I'm really in love with this one.

I feel like with a little bit of modding of the Numerals and the hour hands using a AP Safari as a donor watch, you could probably make this if you had the time and determination

Yes, that ADC can be made with a refinish of the Safari dial/hands. It has one of my favourite OEM straps as well.

You're very right. However subdials are silver, so those would come off a rc? Can't remember what has silver subdials. The strap is excellent on it. I'd still have smp make a burgundy croc with cream stitch to match. Would be killer then.

Yes, lets make a black PVD AP Royal Oak Jumbo A-Series (A-12XX), as it was made in 1973/1974.
Karl has been wearing this for 35 years, much longer than babies like Schumacher and Buemi with their ROOs.
And yet, no ROO special edition under Lagerfeld's name--probably copyrighted anyhow.

Correct me if I am wrong, but Rue St Honore is just a Blue Themes dial/tach with red chrono and seconds hands. Plus the engraved case back. It is easy to Franken, but the red highlights would probably get on my nerves over the long run.

Technically, I could Franken the Rue St Honore--and I have thought of it, and, yes, I know that AD and the people who work there. But, I am just tired of the "sporty" red highlights... so I am probably just going to Franken the Blue Themes. Domi beware...
