Shanghai is out of question because of that ugly bridge, that make it look, like cheap "open heart" fake tourbillons.

What about the original shanghai classic non-bridged flying version (also with power reserve, plus date/date option) that was introduced around 2005/06? Are they still making that movement?

Mate, if you're talking about Shanghai F8/NRZ tourbillon - they don't sell it anymore, they only use this mov't for their own watches.

Yeah, that certainly looks to be the movement, with the positioning of the sub-dials, and centered hands. Shame it's no longer available.

Is the F8 an auto though, Luth? The movement I was thinking of is the one that was used in some of the FM, Breguet, and Hublot tourby reps. The "flying" variety. Same movement that has shown up in many of the more pricey tourby reps (like that FM of mine).

Just kidding, mate.
Yes, it is automatic movement, and it come with 3 different carousel pointers shapes.
If you'll enlarge the picture - you'll see it.

Having real problems making the payment

Tried to pay on line but my bank doesn't allow online Intermediary Bank transactions

Rang the helpline and they were shut

Next day called the helpline who said I was a digit missing from swift code but managed to work out it was an S as part of the last digit

Tried to make payment but was told I wasn't registered for telephone banking only my wife was so I would have to go into a branch

Went into the local branch who didn't know how to make Intermediary Bank transfers so had to leave

Rang the wife and asked her to make the payment on the phone but she managed to get the most unhelpful person in the branch as they kept asking for details of the routing bank and when my wife said is that the Intermediary Bank or the beneficiaries bank the bank clerk refused to tell her and just kept asking for the routing bank details

I can't believe this could be so difficult

Damn those who screwed up PAYPAL

See, you lost a few hours of your precious time, because you want to do everything, sitting on your sofa. If you'd lift your ass, and visit local Western Union office, it would same you a whole bunch of money. First - international bank transfer cost way more, at least in US, and transferring money thru WU office usually take 2-3 minutes, and it cost only $14, at least in US. So, maybe, you live in wrong country?

The online one transferring from your checking account is cheap as chips too - it takes 2-3 business days, but as long as you're patient you don't even have to hoof it down to the WU office with cash. Once you've done a couple without complaining to them about fraud they'll let you send a few grand at a time to China, so the transaction limit is very reasonable.

Edit: Just checked - I can send 2500$ for 15 bucks online via checking account transfer. WU is the way to go!

You have to ask the dealer for the recipient details for WU payment - they will give you a name to put.
