Alrighty friends back to it!
received my very own VR3135 movement (purchased from the bay) quick shipping I must admit.
I have to say upon short observation I'm really liking this movement there is quite many pluses. Great date wheel being first as well as finishing quality also started right up with just a couple of turns.
except the bird crap looking substance on the auto works it's a great movement! Lol
I'm soo used to messing with eta based builds where there is soo much modding involved it was a true pleasure putting this together all self explanatory and with the ST case set having the groove cuts using genuine movement clamp system was a breeze ????
Here's a better picture of the date font, I was quite happy with and impressed I'll leave it as is for now. I want to note as well the date snaps right into position with absolutely no lag right at the midnight 12 o'clock. Oh and it was a pleasure using the Horotec movement holder ????
who ever said ST 3135 hands were bunk... they are great IMO yea they're not perfect but the lume job and curvature is perfect lume plots sitting "sunken in" like gen
Aahhhh like a glove, it's just beautiful! I enjoy looking at this movement seated inside the case especially with out the extra movement holder ring...lol
also want to note: the watch head weight feels great in hand. Better then my eta based submariner build, this one feels solid as if to say and to the feel ways more and finally no rotor noise!!
that's it for now folks, final results coming soon along with a wristy haha
