Is this one gen ?Beautiful!
I actually passed on a brand new 116610 because I already had this...no need for a 6-digit once you have one of these.

Is this a jkf 5513 . The details on there site say it is gen like on the bezel ?Well that wasn’t what I was expecting lol
It looks like a gen transitional gloss dial 5513 to me. They made these between 1984 and 1986 I think. They were the last iteration of the 5513 before the 16800.
The old JKF/Cartel may have had this bezel construction the newer ones do not. There is no friction spring there is a bezel retaining ring instead. So easy to work on. The friction springs are a pain in the rear end.

So you were able to put an eta 2824 in the jfk case . I am reading that you did but I am half dumb! Lol

Here's my first ever build, made with aliX case & bracelet, BP clasp, Raffles dial, Ali hands, NH35 movement. Case & crown guards heavily reshaped by me - still need to work on the inside of the cg's a bit. Also thinking about reshaping the bezel side profile to a more gen-like dish shape..
