Hey bro - I accepted mine from Toro, you think i made the right move? I didn't even ask for a time accuracy reading. I think i'm just so anxious to get my hands on it.

Honestly I think you made the rite move and just accepted if bc I have a feeling majority of the Roman numeral dials all have these issues with spacing and It will be rare to get a perfect one.

I wouldn't worry so much about the timing bc the tds don't check the watch in all the positions anyway so those numbers aren't accurate.

I say wear the watch and see how it is. Worst case the timing can always be adjusted.

What about day date alignment? Is that something a modder can perfect? If so I won't be too strict about it as I will likely have it modded once I receive it.

Just a matter of getting the timing right and indexes.

I'm not 100%sure on this. It may depend how the individual dates are printed if they are all aligned the same maybe it can be fixed if not a new one will be needed.

I would not reject over 9+ seconds, personally. I've read that over 15+ seconds and amplitude less than 300 (like 275 and less) are reasonable parameters for rejection. Then again it can just be adjusted and regulated so it's not that big of a deal imo.

Okay, i didnt know that guess i just got lucky with my pelagos running +3 secs a day. But he didnt reject solely for the +9 the dial has some problems aswell

My TC V6 that I got in 2014 straight from TC runs +25 sec/day and has been from day one lol

Even a officially certified COSC chronometer is allowed -4/+6 s per day. I am not so much in trouble with the accuracy, therefore I can enjoy my automatic watches [emoji6] If I need the exact time I have an IPhone [emoji6]
