I personally think it's a gorgeous one bro! I wouldn't be overly microscopic picky - I do notice the slightly non-straight 4 O'clock sticks but its very minute. Please let me know if you end up exchanging it..I'm expecting my QC pics from Toro tomorrow and I'll definitely post them here for you guys to see and compare with yours. What do you guys think about the 36 mm Day Date? Is it too small?

I have the 36mm DD. It's a little small but very comfortable. It wears nice but when I first opened the box I was like woah it's a little one. But once you put it on it wears big and is very comfortable.

What I can't figure out is who makes the best DD 36mm. Wish someone could tell me.

I'm waiting for them to correct the date wheel color before I buy the 40mm DD because I want the champagne one.

Hmmmmm, read this post from beginning to end. So we all should request our TDs to scan all the dates/days for clarity ask & focus on a version with the 4 O'clock markers not leaning on one another in any way....BUT in the back of my mind, Beggers also cant be choosers, right?

Now, is it a urban myth that the ETA reps are old Swiss ETA movements "restored" with Chinese parts? Really? How do they buy ETA movements in bundles to even make this possible for all of these reps? Did a few members purchase these Swiss ETAs and get professional watch making critics to examine them? How can you justify the Asian Clones are better at this point?

So I was correct my td did order a new watch bc the of the various issues discussed and Unfortunately this one also has some black specks on the dial so I've asked for another.

If the watch didn't have a light color dial I would be more inclined to let it go but it bugs me to much lol. I just hope this isn't a batch issue with these silver dials.

I did ask if it was possible to have the day and date wheel changed to white if I switched to the gold Roman numeral dial so I will see what he says.

4oclock sticks are still wonky: #1 is crooked and #4 is not in line with the others. this is microscopic i know and you probably won't see it on the wrist but it ain't perfect

4oclock sticks are still wonky: #1 is crooked and #4 is not in line with the others. this is microscopic i know and you probably won't see it on the wrist but it ain't perfect

I guess that's what you get for a sub 400 dollar watch man. I've always believed in the philosophy "you pay for what you get".. in this case very unrealistic to expect a flawless rolex which normally costs 25k+ (in gold).

i disagree, you can walk into walmart and find tons of watches for less than 4 bills and the markers on the dial are straight, more than likely made in china too.
