well shipping is sort-of fixed atm i ordered a watch on the 12th and was shipped on the 14th and released from customs on the very same day.

So, if I'm waiting for an order from the beginning of December still and the Chinese New Year is starting, does that mean it will be another month and a half for me to get my watches?

Timesshop mailed me 2 parcels ,first parcel has been mailed on january 7th, 2011 and i received on january 17th.
the second one has been sent out on january 8 and i am still waiting. EMS website says it has been dispatched from GUANGZHOU on jan. 8 and there is still no update on EMS or Canada post website.

Does anyone else have a similar problem?

I am still waiting on my very 1st CN rep order from Lay (replicamake) - ordered 12/1/2010 - shipped 12/5/2010 - still says Origin Post is Preparing Shipment

When the EMS web site says it has cleared customs it only means it is now on the pile to be shipped.
The next time you can be sure it has moved, is when your local post says it has been received.
I ship a parcel every week, and once a shipment is cleared customs in China, I stop checking there. My local PO will then give me an "arrived" notice, and shortly after EMS will do an update.
