wOlf case = 50 produced (+/-), practically unattainable
Goin CG = modder extraordinaire at our RWI Forum
Yes, the watch is a ...(2 year)custom build

Thanks! Its a nice watch, if I wan have to have a custom build, who should i contact for the job? I like to have a 201a as well.. but im not a big fan of the difference in color. I guess its a simple job just to change out the hands?

Your 201/a turned out great. Nice lume color as well.

Which version of the Goin CG is this (I know of 2)? It looks super fat in this profile shot. Did he make a v3 CG?

Here's another CG view...

I'll do a more complete photo review when it arrives home.

I didn't managed to find a review on DSN case. Is there one? How is it?

Here's some more pics I took earlier

mir36 - I don't know of a third Goin CG, all I can tell you is that he shaped it himself

Gravino, congrats on your 201! The lug bars are much more nicer and chunkier than Dsn V2, but recently DSN has released a V3 of the 201/a with thicker lugs. Would you have a close up of the FGD dial, I am curious on how the lume is applied.

Those are great looking strap and buckle, are they dirk's? Once again, congrats.

Btw... I spy a few other 201/a in the background.. Care to share more about them?

Hehe.

Can't get you a macro shot of the dial but I can tell you the lume is not lumpy at all. The Strap is from Dirk with an authentic buckle and Vero Squalo hides from 1993 and yes..., there's 3 watches total. All FGD dials, different cases, movements and crystals, case backs and Dirk's
What can I say? 201a is my favorite watch...

The case is another issue that has been discussed several times on different forums. I was lucky to come across one almost a year and a half ago and I grabbed it... DSN new case still has its own issues with the edges, lugs, etc. but a better effort than previous...

Awesome work there !! I always think the CG is the trickiest part to get it looking right. Thanks for the "after" and "before" surgery pics of your work on the CG.

Just wondering, when you guys source for independent parts to work on, for this CG, often it wouldn't mate perfectly with the case ( gaps and angle ).
How do you make it sit flat on the case ? The CG has two feet, so it is like a see-saw, shape one feet and then the other feet, like a delicate balance of fine tuning.

I believe the CAD file for the cg was based on fitting the Noob 111j case set. It was a small run of 12-15 cg's since most people probably would not want to put in the necessary time required to clean them up.

Are you using different levers? The lever on the brown strap seems to have a tiny gap unlike the other one. Could just be the angle of the pic too.

Probably since the cg bodies and levers were hand-finished there were variances (all of the levers came from the same source I assume).
