Thanks mate. The Serti dials aren’t that hard to find, I would just scour eBay every few days until a nice one pops up
The specs are:
Gen dial
Gen hands
Gen date disc
Gen crystal
Gen bezel ring
Gen insert
Gen crown
Gen 78393 bracelet (for TT Daytonas)
VR3135
Ginault case with lug holes and engraved
It was a big project but certainly worth it. I sold my old Serti sub to a good friend here and I regretted it every moment until I built another one!
That is one impressive build alright, looks like I'll need to be patient in collecting the gen parts. There's one spider dial on Chrono24 but the printing isn't as bright as yours, quite worn off so I'm hesitating as to whether I should grab it or not.
After that will be the gen bezel and insert I guess and the hardest one of all, the bracelet.
It'll be a build that's worth it for sure though, thanks for the inspiration mate!
My next project, 16613 with Lapis Lazuli dial, I hope you will like it as much as me, I will try to keep you updated of the process! Final result will be more or less like this:
Time to join the party! The m2m wm9 showed up today. Fixed the click and found this interesting retaining ring in place. Also swapped in a gen bezel insert hassle free. This seems to be an amazingly built watch!
