Nothing gets by you. Didn't know you were the forum police?

Well "officer" I was within the legal speed limit. On a 3 lane highway with no other drivers at risk because of my decision to endanger my life. Maybe a cow? Consider him ground beef in the unlikely event I caused my own demise. Taking a 3 second picture.

If you ask for help to fix your erroneous "super rep guide" don't be so defensive when people actually do correct it. Do us a favor and all future newbs and take it down until you can truly accept constructive criticism and when you're more knowledgeable yourself. You have clearly shown us how little you understand of this hobby.

As I said in my PM. You're beginning to make yourself out to be a pretentious individual. This time, here mentioning the very OBVIOUS speed I was driving as of to call me out? Good for you, a high five is in order. Lol, so glad you caught that because I didn't the speed I was driving?

Anyways, I have absolutely spent enough time on you. You can certainly continue to enjoy the many pictures I'll be posting of my gen and Franken collection. One day maybe you'll be to enjoy the same caliber of watches. Until then feel free to save these images to your desktop and drool.

Hopefully your career in writing will afford you this luxury one day.

Yes, just recently acquired.

Man what a nice pickup! It looks good, I believe that the new models are more scratch resistant? The old pieces downfall is old swirles here and there as it gets worn

Here are a few (rough) comparison pictures of my Franken 16613 against a gen 2002 Y serial that landed last week.

Thank you! It's been a Grail watch but I was waiting for the right BNIB watch to pop up and buy. Needless to say I found it.

I'd say anything with polished mid links will scratch as easily. Gold or SS. The advantage the new ceramic gold models have over the classic ones is he solid midlinks which will be significantly less likely to stretch with use.

I also love the added heft of the gold on this model.

Sorry last one for now. This is my favorite picture comparison. To the left just notice that gen SS sheen. It simple glows!

money shot right here mate, i can't tell which is gen and which is franken, probably one of the best examples how far frankening this watch can go...

i forgot about the solid midlinks - yes thats definitely a big plus for ceramic versions... the better heft from it just makes it a sublime timepiece with great presence...
only tried it at the ADs, love the royal blue colors that comes with it...
ceoCorona thanks for the pics again mate, its a great comparison

Absolutely. Then again the 16613 and 116613 are different enough IMO that you can own both. In person they have such different personalities.

I know many people who prefer the cleaner and classic lines of the 16613. The 116613 is absolutely more in your face modern bling with Rolex flare. Lol

Nice man, specs?

TC V6 midcase lightly aged and lug holes drilled by jmb
TC caseback and gasket
Y3135 serviced by misiekped with gen parts (hour and minute wheels and 1 or 2 others that I forget right now)
Gen date wheel
WM9 retaining ring shaved for the TC case by Rudy40
TC crystal and gasket
WSO friction ring, click spring
WSO 18k bezel ring
Gen vintage 16613 bezel insert from bronica in OZ
Gen 16613 champagne serti dial (T<25)
Gen gold 3135 hands
Gen 7030 tube and seals
Gen 18k 703 crown
Gen 93153 bracelet

The whole thing was assembled by Mike

I'll try to get some better pictures when I have a moment. It has been a grail for me for a long time and I am thrilled to finally have it on my wrist.

My wife had a fit when she found out how much I paid for the dial. It's a good thing she doesn't know how much the whole thing cost.
