I'm writing this not only in regards to watches, but in regards to accessories as well. I understand this is the general watch section, but i feel that this section gets the most views and I want people to see this.

After PM's back and forth with various people, I'm certain I'm not the only one. I'm standing up and saying, Trevor's quality has gone down the drain.

Let's start with the basics. He boasts 1:1 quality of items, yet 70% of the products he sells don't even exist! I know my Duponts, Cufflinks, Ties, and shoes. I can safely say that these items he claims to be 1:1 are not of good quality. Examples include the following.

-Louis Vuitton Belt Buckles ( especially those with lettering ) are completely off, the font is incorrect, and there are commas instead of periods for say the large belt buckle.

-The ties. 80% of the ties this guy sells don't even exist. How do I know? I WORK for a company that sells a certain tie brand he boasts to be 1:1.

-Dupont lighters. Don't even get me started on this. A solid gold bond lighter? That lighter was never created. As a matter a fact all his bond lighters have the incorrect stamp at the bottom of the lighter.

-Tiffany Jewelry. This gets bad. Most of his items don't exist and would be laughed at if anyone knew two cents about items that company sold.

-Keychains. A VAST majority of those keychains again, were never created by the company.

Not to mention the several watches I've ordered to my PO Boxes ( yes I'm THAT paranoid ). I don't even bother talking to the guy. Rolex PVD he sold me faded after a week. This happened not once, but twice.

Look I don't know if the economy is getting bad but last I checked Trevor used to have some top notch stuff. His accessories and watches were well represented and were actually real (meaning they existed, as in the company actually makes that product ). I used to believe in him, but I thought people should hear about this because not everyone is as educated in accessories like I am.

A major part of this thread also is finding myself a good accessory dealer that I can trust. I have already found a new watch dealer that I can order from with ease.

I've heard great things about thehandbagfan and I've already placed an order. Any other suggestions?

Also hassling him for having lots of fantasy stuff is a bit harsh, and personally I consider all claims of '1:1' as absurd marketing and to be entirely disregarded.

I pretty much completely ignore that "1:1" thing for all the reasons you just mentioned. It's a joke. Show me a site where they don't claim it to be 1:1. I guess it's a sales tactic used to get first time buyers...

It's all about marketing.

If you don't like whatever he's marketing....then buy elsewhere.

Just my $.02 worth.

Oh ye olde 1 to 1 myth...

Fact... Nothing in the rep world is 1:1

I bitched a long time ago that dealers shouldn't even be able to advertise as such. Meh... I figured if ya read enough threads you will find that out pretty easily so I quit my bitchin.

The only 1:1 is a gen

I don't think the OP is complaining about the fact that the items purchased aren't 1:1

I believe the OP is more upset about the quality of the items is decreasing while claiming fantasy reps to be 1:1 when in reality they should be more of a 1:0... Sort of like a rep automobile factory marketing a motorcycle as a 1:1 replica of it's Dodge counter part (Dodge doesn't make motorcycles).

I don't think I'd buy a fantasy rep personally unless it was very nice, but this should be avoided if you do your research into what you are buying, as stated 1:1 is a marketing tool.

He also never stated he ever actually bought trevors accessories... Maybe the LV belt? That's it?

He then proceeds to talk about a PVD Rolex that he bought (i assume from trevor) and complains about the quality of the PVD (which isn't dealers fault!)..... Sorry first he complains about fantasy accessories that don't exist but buys a PVD Rolex??? I understand they do exist but all gen PVD Rolexs are limited edition and the reps are nowhere close. What I'm trying to say is it doesn't matter if your pvd Rolex exists cause anybody who knows that model knows its fake! So why would you care about fantasy ties that nobody would know except a knowledgeable fellow like yourself who deals with them for a living!

As for factory pvd... I believe he has too high of standards for reps. If you want QUALITY send it to avitt. If factories did it right why would avitt exist?

So your mad about fantasy reps?

I guess you have never visited watcheden then..........

It's truly up to you to do your own homework to find out what companies actually manufacture.

If your pissed at Trevor for selling inferior products, let everyone know in his feedback section and move on to another dealer.

Forget the 1:1. Moreover, I'm disappointed to see that most of the items he sells aren't produced by the manufacturer. I have been Trevor's customer for over 2 years now. I've purchased shirts, handbags, lighters, and all types of accessories from him. The quality used to be good, very good in fact. Now, his prices are up ( granted USD is down ) but his quality is getting worse by the day. He isn't answering his original email and it seems that I'm talking to a different person every time.

Basically, the quality is down the drain and more and more items he sells aren't even produced by stores. Simple as that. Granted it is our job to do research, but stuff such as ties are really hard to track down. Sometimes they are changed more than one time during season and it's almost impossible to search for the old ones.
