I agree completely!

Elliot, I don't know if you saw either of my other threads about this, but let me take this opportunity to thank you publicly for the 3 MP straps from your BB sale just before Christmas.

Amazing! I can't wait to put that MP XII on a vintage style PAM and the MP Private Stock is going on a 201A that I'm building.

Thanks, again. These straps rival anything I've seen from ANY other strap maker.

If anyone out there is on the fence, roll the dice! You won't be sorry you did, I promise you.

GeF Cammello is fabulous

i got the Bersagliere Cammello (i.e. lightest colored) GEF strap last month andit has gotten much darker since i've started wearing it. compares to the MP "natural" color-changing strap very well

I have one also - got this one custom made w/ black stitch for my pvd 202A - it's now getting a nice aged patina; when it was new it was much lighter. This has the potential to be a 'sleeper' classic :)

ONLY 35 more minutes. Thank goodness!!! My bank account can't take it anymore. Thanks E, for the great sell, and as always you are a pleasure to do business with.

No matter what one does it is not good enough....

No matter what one does it is not good enough....

I just received a PM from someone, who to the best of my knowledge has never done business with me before:

too late for your sale??? it's still 2006! lol

Personally, I feel that the Cumulative Santa and the 5 1/2 day "Kule Yule" Sale gave him plenty of time to purchase SOMETHING...ANYTHING at a huge discount....

PM's like that tick me off.

Thank you for letting me vent only 12 hours after this GREAT promotion ended.

Hey, E! Don't let that PM bother you. Since I have no insight into the rest of what was said in that PM, I'll give the guy the benefit of the doubt and assume it was good natured.

I couldn't agree more, though, that with all the CRAZY sales you've had going on for the past two weeks, nobody has a leg to stand on if they didn't buy something while it lasted.

How many times can you say "Hurry, the sale is ending!"?

It's never enough, but please know that the majority of the users here are very grateful for your sales this holiday season!

I know I am! (Now I'm shopping for new watches to go with all of my straps!)

I'll admit, I'm the one who sent the PM. I wouldn't want anyone here to think my initial PM was anything but good natured, so here's a copy of my reply to E just in case it got lost in cyberspace:

"Sorry to insult you with my pm. Actually, I'm still very new to this site, and just received a watch yesterday that could use one of your straps. I was only trying to keep things lite in my message, as I just researched your website and then found your sale post on RWI.. seeing that I missed it.

Your original generous offer for a discount I'm sure was appreciated by all, and certainly would have been appreciated by myself as well being a first time customer. However, I did not expect the reply I got from you.

Again, my apologies. Good luck with your business"

I guess I caught E off-guard or on a bad day..my bad

Happy New Year everyone!

No harm, no foul, JoJo.

My guess would be that Elliot gets lots of these types of requests every time he has a sale end. Your PM probably just caught him at a weak moment, as you said.

No worries, I'm sure (although, I don't presume to speak for Elliot  ).

Happy New Year!

all i can say is that E is very flexable about his dealer choice only sales and his cutoff times. i have 3 times more straps than watches to put them on because of this.

once again E, thanks for how you have tried your best to accommodate and help me.

PS: Here's the absolutely terrific watch I just got, and my post on Belial2k's forum. Anyone have any ideas which strap might look the best on this? I was originally thinking the Mario Paci XII...the "Natale" L'abbronzatura

Some of you might remember that this fiddy was first offered here as only one available immediately, and the future orders available as quoted below. Well, I just wanted to write that I recieved the "one available" this week, and wanted to say what a gorgeous piece it is! Complete as advertised, including a great superlume after I charged it in the car headlight last night.

Just wanted to say I was very happy, and looking forward to future modded watches!

Happy New Year, Elliot! You are a great addition to RWI and the hobby. Have a wonderful new year!

Thanks for all the great deals. I just realized today that I'm heavy on 26mm and light on 24mm. Looks like I'm back on the hunt for straps. :D

Cheers,
CM
