And heat the bezel up a little

Messed up thing emdeevee was that this was the first Rolex that pressed the crystal and crystal ring in. It came out perfect. Cyclops perfect. Now to get a gen spec crystal ring off and put it back in is going to be nuts. The TC case doesn't really like gen bezel rings. You have to file and sand. No big deal but I got it on with out that and it came out great.

I asked the guy how did he know if it was real. His answer was pretty logical. He brought the watch new. He said that the watch has never been off his wrist in 10 years. He said that it is scratched and stretched a bit but his watch store gave him a 20% deal on a new one and he jumped on it. Well I won it!!!!! Very happy.

Yeah Bro, all YMs have the PCLs (polished center links)
Tip to you, polish the center links first, then tape em up and brush the outside edges of the links

Ok. This is an update but no pictures. I just got two Yachtmaster platinum dials. I don't have them in hand yet but I found one locally and I found one on another site. I am going to pick the best one and use it and sell the other one. So all who want a gen dial stand by.....
So my list now I have the following for my build.
Gen dial
Gen LV hands (new)
Gen Yachtmaster Red seconds hand (new)
Gen Crystal LEC (new)
Gen date wheel
Gen bracelet (Old and stretched) need to send it out to get polished and un-stretched.
Gen crown/tube/stem
TC crystal ring from a 16610
Ebay Gen spec bezel assembly
Gen spec aftermarket bezel from eBay
Yuki/Rolex hybrid 3135

This watch is going to be unbelievable. All I need to find is a gen bezel assembly and insert. I will wait to recoup some money. When it is built I will post pics. I will be selling the TC Dial and movement and hands. I will also be selling one of the gen dials when I get them and see which is the one I want. They both have the legs cut off I believe one has it soldered back on.

Doing the math for a true break down so far and this is with out building or what Mike is going to charge me to put it all together. I want to do it actually but I have never took a Yuki apart. I have changed parts and bridges in a yuki but not clean and grease it. So here is the damage.
TC Watch was $350 it was missing the bezel and band.
Bezel and retaining ring and click spring and gasket $150
Real gen band beat to hell but real $375
Gen crystal w/gasket $300
LV hands $200
Yachmaster red seconds hand $200 Crazy for one hand LOL
Dial $650
Date wheel $150
Yuki movement $345
Extra rolex parts for yuki $300
Stem/tube/crown $150
Assembly and movement cleaning Don't know yet until he does it.
Total right now is $3170

I also have a gen winding bridge brand new but its for a 3185 and it is marked so. I might sell that and get a gen 3135 bridge and then the movement will look just like my LV yuki/Rolex hybrid.

Yea I know Dave. Think about I have another dial and that cost me another $600 but I think I could recoup that money selling it here or Ebay. I am going to end up slimming down my hurd here. I am keeping all my Mega builds. My 16610, 16610 LV, Yacht master and of course my 116710. My plans for building a 16710 are just not going to happen. My pepsi dream is shot. No one out there makes a 16710 gen case but Rolex. Phong said he would do it but I need to order a min of 10 cases. 10 case at 1200 a pop. God has blessed me with a good retirement but not where I can drop $12000 on cases for a hobby although I must have spent that in the past year and change.
I never wear my pepsi GMT because of the hand stack. It drives me nuts and I know that anyone who is a Rolex sports line fan knows and see's it when they approach. I also have a beautiful two tone black and gold GMT and I have my beloved root beer GMT. All three that I was hoping on making unbelievable builds. But I think I am going to put them on the chopping block. I just have to have my watch maker service them first. Can't sell a watch that is going to give someone problem, its just the way I am.
