Can someone please tell me who is TC?

Is he a TD? I don't see that name in the list of TDs.

My second question in the Flame Free Zone and the Second time I've been asked this LOL.

Yes I'm serious, maybe the fact that I've been a member since 2014 makes people think I'm not a noob, but I am.

I joined, made a couple of posts and left, my interest has been rekindled recently.

I see the TC Submariner mentioned but that is all I know, I've done a search here, people discuss him but who he is I have no clue.

TC stands for Thomas Cadell, he isnt registered as a TD but he was a watch builder on the 5digit submariners and the
Yachtmaster.
his latest version was v7 and v7x.. although he recently "quitted" the rep world and turned into making his own brand the Ginault..so if you scroll at the m2m section you may find TC subs for sale

Let me save you some trouble: you've missed the boat in regards to TC.

Yeah, so it seems.

The reason for my question was because I was reading Omagad's interesting Super Reps post and the TC 16610 gets a mention.

But it seems no one is currently making a Submariner worthy of 'Super Rep' status (if I read it right).

He's the "one of a kind" one man army that had a vision/quest a few years back and set out to produce the best rep 16610 in the game.
6 to 7 versions later he's accomplished just that: with both the 16610LN and 16610LV
By far exceeding expectations, though it seems he's lived and breathed the TC Sub long enough to want/need a break.
And he's certainly earned it.
I'm sure that if you'll take a closer look at the search function you'll be able to learn most ( if not all ) there is to know regarding the journey.

In the meantime I'd suggest keeping 650-$1200.00 in paypal at your disposal and pretty much "live" on the M2M Sales section as for now that's the only way you'll have a shot at owning one.
Most any version of the TC Sub will likely put a permanent smile on your face but if you're gunning for "top dawg" it's the later V6's and the V7 Xtreme you'll want.

And putting a WTB V6/V7 in the "wanted" section wouldn't hurt your chances either

JF Factory? Copy that.

The 16610LV certainly does appeal to me, so much that I recently bought a really nice used 'Trusty Time' one on M2M Sales on another forum! (although I'm not sure what factory it's from, as you know not all TDs actually tell you this).

If it were me I'd replace that one with the LV from JF if I was able.
That's not to say the one you have is garbage but IMHO just about everything about the JF model looks better.
... to me anyway.

I apologize if I seemed offensive to anyone: that certainly wasn't my attention.
And anyone that even remotely knows me or knows of me could likely vouch for that.
Forgive me for saying so but it seems to me that you're the only one that found it "hateful".
Either way, I myself certainly wouldn't ever consider leaving an awesome community that I enjoy being a part based on the "attitude" of one member.
