Have the same type 1 and have not noticed either. I have not inspected mine quite as closely as you describe however.

Congrats on landing a TC.
The pair I've owned along the way didn't have any sort of mis-matched lume but considering the dial markers are cups and the hands are not it's not always gonna be an exact match.
The quality of the TC warrents a gen insert. Find one, snap it on, call it a day and enjoy it Brother. They just don't get much better than that without spending 2-3 times as much

is the dwo left justified, mine was and it seems common... also how's the Mag on the Cyclops? can you post some pics please?

Here are the photos.

mate, you are using a black light right next to the dial. When I do this when my GEN's it appears the lume is mismatched as well. Take some standard pics after charging the lume and move the black light far away. It should be pretty closely matched.

For what it's worth, the markers, hands and pearl (both gen and tc LV pearls) are all identical to the eye and in pics on mine...

Haha yea man. The thing is that it's the the glowing lume that doesn't matches. It's the color of the lume in daylight that looks weird. That was the reason why I used the UV light to check out the actual lume color.

Side by side shot of the TC V5 I built recently next to an ST Franken build. The TC has a gen insert and a BC double ARed cyclops. Not happy with the magnification of the cyclops. May change the gasketView attachment 18063
