But what I can tell you is that it will be GREAT for CONUS to CONUS M2M section, those pieces will fly;)
That's for sure!
Looks like from now on, Americans will need to order 2 or 3 watches from TDs, just to make sure one makes it past customs. It’s basically the buy-one-get-one-confiscated deal. Meanwhile, I’m guessing customs officers will soon be flexing their new "confiscated" APs, Rolexes, and PAMs - strictly for quality control, of course.

Adds a nice twist to the hobby, though. Kinda like Replica-Roulette: spin the wheel, hope your watch arrives, and pray it’s not now on some guy’s wrist at the border.

And: knowing the Swiss, Rolex and friends probably already have a new triangular shipping route in the works. Something classy, like via Moscow and Istanbul. Totally discreet. No one will notice.

Im not sure about that. Customs will not open up more packages if the taxes are payd before shipping like some TDs doe (IOSS system if I am right, but am not a pro here).
The last sentence you mentioned, If you mean it like I understand it, I would just tell you:

With your history, my german friend, never in past, present and future you should make jokes about "bad Swiss people".

But maybe I get the last sentence wrong. Then ignore that.

No offense to the Swiss, by the way - quite the opposite! If anyone’s already figured out a clever new shipping route through two neutral countries and a bear cave, it’s probably them. (maybe the example was was a bit "off")
Gotta respect that level of finesse. And don’t worry - coming from Germany, I’m definitely not looking back at our own history with any pride either.

Sending reps to our country mostly goes great when TDs do because they know how to send. only 3 out of hundreds of packages went lost at customs on my side. But I dont wanna be to much off topic.
