Too expensive for me. Got the clasp from my TD most probably the same quality as the gen. The strap has not arrived yet.

Agree. I put together rep clasp and a perfect gen like strap for $100

U.K
Are there any issues with the chrono functions on this? Is it one of those you don't touch often like some of the pams?

I personally wouldn't touch the chrono on any Asian 7750. I know some say they are ok but when you've handled a swiss one you can really see how crappy they are

Since I can't speak of experience, what kind of differences can we notice when you let a swiss 7750 vs an Asian run?

I'm quite interested :)

Just received mine today from InTimeWatch. Transaction went perfectly and got my watch in around a week. What and awesome watch! Now to order the leather strap.

That's great to hear mate. Would love to see pics? Did you get the latest version?

I did get the latest version. Unfortunately I was so excited with the watch I didn't thoroughly check the functions. The 30 minute Chrono (the dial at 12) advances 1 minute and then gets stuck. It never advances farther than 1 minute - I can see it attempting to move but it never goes anywhere. I opened a support ticket with InTime so I'll see what my options are. This is only the 3rd rep I've ever purchased. :(

I know of the issues with the A7750 movement so I've only tried it and reset it the one time. Followed the recommended care that I found in the forums. This is the seconds @9 A7750 so I thought they were the movements with the least amount of issues. I have a Moonwatch rep with an A7750 and that one is fine. Not that I plan to use the Chrono function often, but I should expect it to work in the first place correct?

That's a bummer! Hope InTime can sort out the movement issue for you. You will likely have to send it back. Your movement should not be as bad as the sec@9 modules. Those are even more notorious. I have a bunch of APs with sec@9 modules. Your best bet is to leave the chronos alone on these A7750s man. Either that or send the movement for service soon after receiving the watch.

Yeah I've read to leave them alone. I've tried it twice now just to make sure it wasn't a fluke and yep, the 30 minute Chrono won't advance past 1 minute. I'm wondering if I should just be happy with the watch how it is. I'm not sure I'm up for the hassle of having to send it back and then getting it back in possibly the same condition anyway. The watch itself is still beautiful.

I'm pretty new to the hobby and still learning the in and outs, but this makes me want to stay away from anything with a A7750, but on the other hand there are quite a few that I would love to purchase that use the A7750 movement! Like one of those APs you mentioned ;).

Look at getting it replaced with a swiss, honestly makes the world of difference

How much does the swiss run? $400 or am I looking at the wrong thing? I'm assuming I would lose the parts that make the movement look like the gen?

Whereabouts are you? ado213 has some 7750's in but he's in the UK. Should be a bit less than that and the rotor should be transferable. Chrono hands will have to be broached that's the only thing but a good watchsmith should be OK with them. Adrian did my slevin and now I get a nice working chrono, smooth sweeping seconds subdial and when I wind it it doesn't feel like gravel

I'm in the US. I put in a request with Strodda. I also noticed the subdial at 6 doesn't return to its 12 position when I reset the chrono. The winding of this movement isn't bad actually. It's pretty smooth compared to my other 7750. Appreciate all the help. I'm thinking a gen 7750 may be the way to go for this one. I plan on having this one for a long time as I love the watch and the SpaceX connection.

Ok so as southall6 recommended I'm going to try to source a Swiss 7750 and have that installed, hopefully keeping the decorated bridge and rotor from my current movement if possible.

I'm not too bothered because I'm still saving more than a few grand of the genuine.

Since I'm still rather noob-ish to this whole process I'm not sure how/if I should address with my TD. I already notified the TD of the issue and they asked me to send it back. Do I just notify them that I would rather pay to have it fixed here than deal with cost/possible customs issues if I sent it back? Is it customary to ask the TD for a possible discount on your next purchase?

This hasn't turned me off of reps at all as I know it is to be expected that they are not perfect; just looking for advice as to how others have handled this.

Yeah I would ask them. Puretime are the only one I've done that with but they gave me a discount I think it was like $20 or something
