Swiss ETA 3135?

I'm a noob trying to research into movements for a rep.

Watcheden claims to be selling reps with SWISS ETA 3135. In this forum I've read about an Asian 2836 dressed as a 3135 (Cal), and also about Asian 3135, but there is no info on an actual swiss version.

I have a couple of questions for the experts:

1 - Is this a matter of nomenclature (some call it asian, and some call it a swiss copy) or is this really a new swiss movement?

2 - I'm between this movement and an Asian 2836-2 clone (this is for a DSSD and the ETA 3135 is about $100 more); which would you recommend?

THX

Get the 2836-2 it's a more reliable movement and who will know, the thing has a closed caseback.

I'd like to see a Swiss ETA made Rolex movement. That would be a game changer.

Has anyone bought a watch with this movement from WE yet?

Is it for real?

That's my first inclination as well... i just wanted to know if it is feasible that there is an eta version of the rolex 3135...as that would make for a very interesting alternative.

Thx for the advice.

I suppose it's possible someone may be modifying gen ETAs the same as they do the clone but why would you bother?
There is not going to be a lot of ETA left.

And there's not going to be much 3135 on the inside, either. Save your money unless you're planning on putting on a see thru case back.

If it seems too good to be true. .. it probably is... will stick with the known and reliable version then. .. Thanks for the input
