Movement #1 is a clone
Movement #2 impossible to tell due to the graininess of the picture

The 3 cutouts for the jewel retainer, the angles of the retainer spring, mainplate machining curves, and the engraving for the regulator markings

Raddave Thanks for the link. I've done a ton of reading and I know what to look for...I just can't always see it. I guess you also have to weigh the various factors.

i really don't know, i just talk to the person that sells it, and she told me that it's a movement that have 10/15 years old but works good, i make an offer of 80 euro and she accept it. do you think it's a good price for this movement? for sure it will need a service

If it runs but needs a service i think 50-80 USD would be fair

Does the realibility differ between the two? Since clones are getting so much better does it make a difference?
