I agree that the rarity of a watch should be taken into considertion.
The more common a model is, the more likely you are to meet the Gen counterpart and the more accuracy matters.

Hence you can get fantastic replica versions of Rolex, Pam, Omega and Hublot where the fora will slaughter them for the smallest inaccuracies. They are still very good though.

But for the bulk of watches that are not Submariners or Seamasters the most important thing is the attention to details such as intricate dials, beautifully cut cases, and even simple things like AR and lume.
Add to that a good strap, and you will have great reps even if the subdial is slightly off.

To answer the question I would suggest 3 very different sports watches (in order of accuracy):

I'm surprised this one hasn't been mentioned. Of the forty or so reps I own, this is the closest to gen without doubt.
