I just took a few pics and with the sun directly on it and the way it hits both the Carbotech bezel and the dial, it really adds an entirely different texture which make it feel like a different watch. In the same way the LV changes.

These are things that just don't happen with a seiko or an apple watch. And the factories do an amazing job with these features.

the 960 is sweet. I have the 1616 which is the 47mm version of the 960 and It was my favorite for a while until the 799 came out (this watch). And I really started falling in love with this watch. Even now, like a month later, every time I see someone post a pic of the 799, I think to myself “I need to wear it more often”.

and now my pam collection is getting up there and I don’t have one 42mm model. If I did though, I think it would be the 959 though because it is so unique. I think the 959 would suit your style the most too although it’s not carbotech. It’s just so complex. In like a million subtle little ways and VSF does a great job of capturing so many of them. The blue ceramic bezel (which I love), the grey sharkskin dial. The way it has so many like conflicting textures makes it a beauty. I’ve talked myself out of it because it is 42 mm but now, but... damn, I’m really making myself want one here now.

Nice. This needs a green or roulette datewheel to be perfect, man.

I wish good datewheels could be had for the cheap. It would be so much easier to “play”. Lol. Awesome piece though.
