Submariner No Date VSF 114060

I use shooter lube (gun oil) for my bracelets. I add a few drops and work the oil in with my fingers. Then wipe down and buff with a microfiber towel. Finally clean with a soft toothbrush and some winded. Bracelets come out perfect every time.

I give my bracelets a wash in a ultrasonic cleaner then soak them in silicone spray oil until the next day, then I clean it off with a toothbrush + soap and throw it into the ultrasonic cleaner once more. Done this with all and the result is a squeak-free bracelet with smooth moving links. Anyway, here's a wristshot.

I have a piece of debris just like that, but thankfully its tucked above the rehaut between that and the crystal. I'll have to have it removed if it ever falls out, it would bug me to no end. You have a nice watch though.

VSF 114060 > or < CF 124060?

Im having a hard time deciding which to get. Even tempted to put a CF 124060 dial on a VSF 126610.

I can tell you the VSF 114060 is outstanding quality even beside my gen 124060. That being said, they both wear very different. The 114060 is smaller especially the bracelet but is a little more chunky. 124 is more streamlined.

My 11X Subs hardly ever get worn anymore for that reason. Once I put on a 12X for the first time, the others are just too small. The tiny difference in the case, lugs and bracelet results in a very big difference on the wrist. I'll probably still get the VSF 114060 though. Can't help myself.

That's interesting, I had a VSF 126610LN and while I liked the look of the smaller lugs, I didn't like it as much on my wrist. On my smaller wrist (flat 6.5"/16.5cm) the older gen just wears a bit better and the narrower bracelet feels a bit more comfortable.
But that wasn't the main issue why I got rid of my 126610LN, mine had some serious movement issues with losing time, a broken date quick set and also the hands slipped a bit. But no issues with the 114060 after wearing it since more than half a year now and only switching between it and an IWC Pilot Mark 18, so I wear it a lot.

This. Which is why I want a 124060. Have a 7.5” wrist.

Great pictures. Difference between 11X and 12X evident. Think 11X might work better on smaller wrists. 7” and above the 12X might be more comfortable. But YMMV. Good thing we have choices.

I solved it by taking a bath on the bracelet with johnson baby oil .. oil that is used for children .. now it's perfect .. no squeaking .. even softer ..
