Sub Noob V7 vs Gen and review

How did you fix the SEL issue? On a side note does anyone know what year made gen the V7 is meant to replicate? I noticed on this side by side the gen had the smaller f

V7 case is replicating a 2010-2015 sub.the dial and clasp is a replication of 2016-17 sub

@smoke, unpolished scallops that OP mentions on the bezel, I thought some versions of gens had that too. What is your opinion?

Well zockker had a gen bezel assembly that had teeth like the noob once.but I'm not 100 percent convinced it was gen.but it's possible I guess perhaps rolex made a couplease of messed up bezel assembly.because I once saw a pic of a gen in 2015 that had what looked like a noob bezel.but that's only 2 examples.and I've never seen this ever since on a gen

I still have the v6s but i've done some mods on the case. I've shaved the lugs make them even.

I have also seen a gmt2 that had duller scallops very similar to noob.

Awesome post. I owned a gen that I bought from a watch forum. Now i'm worried that it's not gen!!! So scary.

I think a big difference between the v7 and the gen is, that the rep is much more sharp on the edges.
Bracelet, clasp etc is more sharp as gen I think.

What do you guys mean?
Can we fix that?

I think the biggest difference between the V7 and the Gen is the price, ha #genius, I know lol! These type of reps are 90% close to Gen for 10% of the price.

If we bring the right attitude to the game and developed a taste for this hobby, it’s a no brainer.

the gen in the op's comparison suffers from the dreaded low mag cyclops issue.

I think should forget about this thread. The watch was actually a v6s sold to me as a V7 .The bracelet was v7 though... strange. But the case wasn't even that good. That particular case was among the worse i've ever seen.

I've learned a lot since writing this thread. The newew v7 s are way much better !
