Hi all,
I would like to be educated on this topic. I have read extensively about the V7 subs, the 2836 and 3135. Claims have stated that the 3135 was the closest to the Gen. This was due to back thickness, crown guards etc.
However, I have also read that it's a crap shoot and the 3135 movement is unreliable and hard to repair. Seems the 2836 was easier to work on and was way more reliable as movements go.
Opinions please.
My other question is, if the 2836 is modeled after the Gen Rolex movement, why is the back thicker than the Gen? Wouldn't it be the same fit. I'm new so if this is a dumb question I'm sorry.
