Stupid small problem has me stumped.

No matter what I do, I can't tighten the crown in such a way that the "B" logo is right-side-up when the crown is fully tight. Nope, it ALWAYS comes out upside-down and it's beginning to annoy me. No matter what position I start in, on either one of my Breits....always upside down. arrrrrrgh :angry:

@Rob, it's the threading inside the crown. most rollies are like that too. i may have a couple that screws right side up. maybe some here might have tips on where to get a replacement crown that's right side up?

Yeah, it's an issue with the way the threads are made. There's really not a fix, other than rotating the tube out a half turn, which would then be half a thread loose. They just aren't machined correctly.

Different things annoy different people, I know when my heat is off on my car the controls have to be aligned or it bugs the hell out of me so I can understand what you are saying. Both of my Rollies are the same way crown tightens upside down. Just something you have to learn to live with or modify it until you are happy.

(I don't think he was complaining that it isn't like the Gen just that it personally annoys him, just my take at least)

No intention to be rude to the OP at all. What i was trying to say is that most of us have this issue at some point in time. I was really devastated when I found that my Gen. rolex had this issue. I was at that time convinced that I was scammed until I learnt that most watches have this issue.
