strap question

My range is 90-100 euros .I like bob's straps seems nice and a little bit cheaper.Are as good quality of others more expensive?I like short tails too .sorry

with 90-100 euros, you can get some quality stuff! you may be even able to afford some customized pieces too! I have 6.5 inch wrist and bob's 115/75 seems a bit long for me... so am also looking at customized straps myself (and my budget isn't as high as yours... unfortunately).

You should check out strap culture. Seth makes and sells some nice stuff with great customer service.....however.

I recently got a SC Legend in historic brown and tried to get it on my DSN 055 and it was just too thick and kept rubbing the brown dye off due to the tightness. I have it on a trusty modded base now and it looks fine. I did get a Greg crazy horse on the 055 though so go figure.

You just have to try it. Two of the my 3 DSN watches have a problem fitting really thick straps due to shirt distance between the lug holes and case and one does not.

I don't see why not. I would think Greg's straps are top notch so no worries. What is your concern? That the strap might rub the case??

I find that there're not many straps that can fit into DSN watch ie the strap rubs too much on the case & you can't use any tubes because his screws are too big. So far, found that Europelli & Simona croc straps fit very well.

@everyone -- FYI it's not just DSN's cases, my mini-Fiddy cased custom vintage watch won't fit every strap, either. My MP Private Stock *barely* fits. A Toscana strap that I had would not fit.

@micifu -- Don Ginsler carries short sizes and his straps are very nice quality for the price. Check the strap thread that is stickied at the top of this forum...
