Storage Wars on A&E -- Big watch find

I know the storage auctions are real but what I question is the quality of the contents left when the auction time comes. I store my toy hauler in a storage place by my house and frequently speak with the manager. He tells me they always go through the locker prior to auctioning it off. I'm sure most storage places do this as well.

Highly illegal in some states that is. The same was a pawnshop has to auction not sell unclaimed pledges in some jurisdictions. There are finds, the guy who found the Bond Submarine Lotus bought it a storage unit auction.

Speaking of reality I watched a strange episode of American pickers a few nights back. Looked to be shot on a handycam, over exposed and very early (both looked young). Danielle had far less tats. The way they (Mike and Frank)were talking they had not long met and it appeared unscripted. Anyone know if this was some sort of pilot episode?
