Why would you wear shark but not ray,croc, or ray?? Sharks are waaay overfished, much of this due to the increasing demand for shark fin soup - for which the sharks are caught, stripped of thier fins, and thrown back into the water. I feel bad for what these animals go though for our satisfaction - Yet I love my stingray strap. I would bet that most sharks that are killed for thier skins are not completely used. I bet this is true for most animals that are killed for thier skins.

Because that's that. As a kid, I saw Jaws and it scared the crap out of me. This is my revenge. 8)

To be honest, this isn't something I rationalise with a set of rules I will not bend. This is an unconscious choice, not driven by rational thought. You can say a strap type and I will say yes or no and I will not really know why. Asking for explanations or justifications will get you, or me, nowhere.

I once had a person ask why I eat meat. They explained that the process used in slaughter houses and poultry processing facilities were cruel and that I should not support this. My reply was simply that it tastes good and that good piece of bloody cow was wonderful to eat. This same person brought me a video showing what takes place in a slaughter house (made by PITA). We watched the video while ate a burger. :twisted:

My point? People will do what they do because of the way it makes them feel. I do not eat oranges. Not because I don't like them, but because of the Godfather. Ever person who touches an orange in that movie dies.

If you like something then enjoy it. If you don't like it, stay away from it. Easy enough, but don't call another's views into question because they are not yours. I am sure you have views that are equally as odd.
