So you're admiting to being a moronhey all, thanks for changing post title and having a laugh on me. i was able to laugh at myself too from your posts
you all (and Steve) helped me to realize i did indeed receive the watch from QC. my initial gut reaction to believing i was duped was driven by:
* order number missing from sticker
* font looking very diff in person
* (still) cannot get dial to line-up on 10 the way my QC showed it was lined up
I now understand all these factors can differ camera to camera and appear different due to lighting, angles, reflections, lens annd crystal distortion, etc.
the font was and still is the biggest shocker to me.
I have already apologized to Steve but would like to apologize again here for my misunderstanding of the situation and the emotional post i made.
I’m glad we could settle this at my expense, and I am happy to look like a fool (given my foolish behavior) in the hopes that it serves as a lesson to the next newbie.
cheers all
hey friend, yes. my post and reaction to the watch in person, was moronic indeed. jumping to the conclusion Steve (or his people) did something malicious was moronic as well seeing as I had received exactly what I had GL’d.So you're admiting to being a moron
It's all good! Mistake made....knowledge gained!hey friend, yes. my post and reaction to the watch in person, was moronic indeed. jumping to the conclusion Steve (or his people) did something malicious was moronic as well seeing as I had received exactly what I had GL’d.
moronic, idiotic, stupid, emotional, wrong, incorrect. any and all synonyms thesaurically ancillary that you would like to use would be appropriate to describe this post and my reaction.
I hope it can now be a lesson to other newbies to the QC > Real-Life cycle to understand the variables cameras can create in QC and what you can receive in person and how it can truthfully differ from QC photos.
I respect your review and introspective assessment of the situation. I wish more people who start as you did would pause when it's clearly demonstrated their initial knee jerk reaction was incorrect. You're new here and learning, and seem to have integrity. Enjoy your new watch and the hobby. In the future you should also consider doing research on the specific model you're looking at buying so you have a better idea of what you should expect, known flaws, people's personal opinions of ones they have received, etc.hey friend, yes. my post and reaction to the watch in person, was moronic indeed. jumping to the conclusion Steve (or his people) did something malicious was moronic as well seeing as I had received exactly what I had GL’d.

thank you for the great idea. i am indeed learning and I am new to the rep watch world and very much new to the concept of doing your best “interpretation” of QC photos and understanding what can change when QC translates to a real-life watch ticking on your wrist.I respect your review and introspective assessment of the situation. Yours is not a common one, perhaps you can post some information and opinions ( mini review) to help others know what to expect over in the breitling section. Best wishes!
All right, all right, but now please stop bashing yourself. This is not Game of Thrones, we don't need or want you or anyone else to make public amendshey friend, yes. my post and reaction to the watch in person, was moronic indeed. jumping to the conclusion Steve (or his people) did something malicious was moronic as well seeing as I had received exactly what I had GL’d.
