Looks like the S/S crown Homer used to offer few months back, also the 'same' crown comes in Ruby's/Trevor's/Joshua's PAM036, only in Ti not S/S.

Anyway @ $43 offered, it's hardly a good deal, especialy knowing that 'Pam' now offers 'palp' crowns for slightly more, but much closer to the gen.

The one on the pic on e@bay comes with lesser number of teeth then gen, also it seems like the seller ground off the tips of the teeth for some reason.

I'd stay away from it if I were you.

regards,
babola

PAM does offer palp crowns...but its a pain to get a hold of them and takes 2 weeks or more to receive the crown...

...and will be all well worth the pain at the end...believe me :)

C'mon guys, you can get high pinnion set from CousinsUK for 6,50 GBP + shipping. This price is ridiculous ... Don't be stupid.
BTW, you have detailed instructions and much discussion about that on RWG - http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?s=&showtopic=32223&view=findpost&p=263525

I dont know palp and their crowns, but it's difficult to see the number of teeth when the watch is on the wrist  . I think so.

Davidsen accept only Western Union. WU costs much more than 8$... and I prefer Paypal...

Mate in all honesty (and due respect), you asked us for an opinion, and some of us obliged...but not to receive 'smart-ass-like' comments in return.

We told you what we know, and some of us have been long enough in this 'game' to be able to differentiate good from bad & 'good enough' to mediocre, with greater deal of certainty compared to ordinary Joe Blogg rep owner. I'm not saying we are know-all but at the end you ought to show at least a bit of respect towards the fellow forumers that spend vast amounts of time, energy and money in this beautiful hobby.

Take it as you wish, we've told you what we think about the item(s) you originally posted, it's really up to you and what rocks your boat.

...and what do we know anyway...

cheers,

Yep, what Babola said, except he said it a little more gently than I would have.

Seems like you already had your mind made up before you posted.

So, buy it already.

Well, I also have the same crown shown in eBay. I have a PP buyer account but never had seller account. Otherwise, I can offer him a cheaper price than eBay so he can enjoy the crown as he wishes. Then I can get one from DVN to replace mine.

Cheer,
ssalxpanerai.

I'm in the market for a pam crown as well.
What are the differences between the palp and DSN's?
Palp is about $53 and DSN's is $35...
Some say the DSN's are more difficult to install??

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
