Im wondering about the GMF models.
Does anyone know if opting for the 3235 vs the 2836 will change the case thickness?
Or would they be using the same case for both models?

I think if the case got thinner it would be readily broadcasted, DJ and in general Rolex rep case thickness is kind of a sore spot of many offerings, so a thinner case would be noticed with joy right away. Worth inquiring with your TD, which I would do anyway because some indications are different from TD to TD.

I’ve heard that the VR3235 is a good option. Why is it not liked by watch makers?

If I recall it was something about the base being a vr3135 with a few modifications. It wasn't holding up too well. Not sure about that today.

May be wrong but I think it was because the vr is difficult to mod, doesn't accept Gen parts, whereas the VS does.
