state of the collection for da doova

Ive seen a few collection pics/threads going around and thought I put a quick one of my collection as it stands now. I have only made two purchases of reps so far, for a total of 6 watches.

On the bottom is a super-small tough to see 36mm citizen. I dont like it now and it hasnt worked in years, but I bought it back when I was 16 (21 years ago) and thought it was cool then. First major watch purchase (in my young eyes.)

Also in the bottom is a Seiko that my grandfather bought in the 70's, then it was my fathers and then he gave it to me. Not a large monetary value but its important to me.

These pics suck in the preview. But I use these watchbox pictorials as kind of a measuring stick anyway, so I feel satisfied with the pictures - they are what they are.

I just used paint.net to add text to the picture.

Ref the walmart watch - sometimes u can't help what catches your eye. The eBay Chinese watches that are in the pic and the ones that aren't fall into the cheapo or embarrassing category too.

I completely understand, I have a few Walmart watches in my collection and every time I am there I see something that catches my eye.

Hey some of those cheapies are quite nice for what they are.
There are some very nice anni/digi combos around for 20 bucks or so that
look every bit as good (and have the same functions) as a 300 dollar Citizen/Seiko
for example.
