I have a spare ETA movement + BK datewheel overlay ready to go into the watch, but I need some hands that will stand up to the gen lume. ETA hands are easy enough to source, but are there any that come pre-superlumed? I emailed BK to see if he has any WM9 left, or any spares of the superlumed hands from pbdad, but if anyone knows of any other source I'm all ears. I haven't been able to find any Tudor hands for what I consider to be a reasonable price, unfortunately.
Also--I'm thinking of trying to reduce the wokkiness of the case. Not sure if this is a good idea or not, I will have to carefully measure stuff before I go for it, and it would definitely be a by-hand mod, way too easy to mess it up if I do it with the Dremel. But I think that if the gen dial is a bit wider than the rep dial, especially the diameter of the minute track, then I could trim/straighten the rehaut of the SSD. What does the braintrust think?
