I got my 359 from Puretime - I love this watch BUT the crown came loose and I had some mega fun re-attaching it. I had to remove the case back - the crown is threaded into a collar which holds it to the case. I had to use a micro screw driver to hold the collar while I screwed it on. Wish I used some LockTite - but wasn't even sure I could get it to catch the threads. I know you aren't supposed to set the time on a watch by rotating the hands counter clockwise, but that is the way the crown keeps tight and that is what I suggest you do in case the crown comes loose. Cheers JackTBear

Wow that's nice luckie!

Hello JackTheBear,
I'm honestly concerned about the crown issue you mentioned. Do you think this is a problem with puretime watches or will i likely have to deal with this anywhere I buy?

Actually that happened to mine too, but since I have already built my own watches, taking the back off and popping the stem/crown out was not a big deal. The stem is released by a tiny push-release button, and then you can just re-screw the crown onto the stem. I have no idea if this is a recurring problem, but it is an easy fix.

Okay I've been staring at alucard666's SS Bracelet on the PAM 359 and I have to say, I love it! That will likely be the way that I go. AHX does make a great point concerning the OEM cost of the SS bracelet, too much $$. Thanks AHX.

I do agree with CMC that the polished bracelet does fit the polished style of the PAM 359. There's just something about the combination of watch and bracelet style that works for me on alucard666's pic though. I do wish that there was a polished version of alucard666's bracelet. Perhaps i'll wait a bit before buying the bracelet to see if a later (polished) version becomes available.

Thank you again everyone for your comments and pictures!

I can't find that polished bracelet on puretime, then again I can never find anything on the sight. I suck at searches. I gotta get a bracelet for my Mama's Rolex as well, I emailed them waiting for a positive response. LOL I really like that polished look over my brushed bracelet so I guess I'lll have to sell that one and get me a polished one.

Thanks alucard666! @ $60, the bracelet won't break the bank either!!!!
So I've been studying the polished and unpolished bands for a few days now. Besides the obvious, what is the difference? Does one come closer the "look" of the gen ss bracelet? if so, how because I can't tell from the pictures I see.

Hello mysterio,

alucard666 posted pics of his PAM359 with the new style bracelet. I love the look personally. However, the 359 case is polished where as the new style bracelet is brushed. The standing question is, where can one find the new style bracelet that alucard666 has in a polished version?
I'm not sure that it even exists lol.

Is the new style bracelet compatible with the 359?

Yes it is. That's the one from my pictures in this thread.

Polished in new style does not exist. But a dremel and some polishing paste might do the job on the brushed one. The brushing is very light so even some cape cod and elbow grease might do the job.

New style SS Bracelet on PAM 359

Hello again,

Okay so I've been surfing the net for a few days now and guess what? I actually found someone selling a PAM 359 with a SS "New Style" bracelet for under $200.

First off, the case on the PAM 359 is also brushed (Problem)
Secondly, the numbers in the dial appear to be green (Bigger Problem)
Third, i don't know if the dealer can be trusted (Biggest Problem)

Anyway, I've attached pics if anyone would like to see what this kind of combination would look like.

Ultimately, I'm going with Puretime and the "New Style" SS bracelet. The crown guard on the PAM 359 appears to also be brushed and that's enough for me lol!
