Why not test build with an all rep movement first before using gen parts?

I feel the pain with the broken gen bal. wheel man.

Have think about this possibly, have test on SH how metal could be drilled, and finally have decided due to acceptable risks to do on gen parts, of course when a part is broken you could have balls, but expect for the mainplate, rest of bridges are not so expensive and have 5 to 8 of each ones, so risks are acceptable.

At least it’s a hand job, so means go really slowly, risk of breaking parts in fact is minimal.

Here’s the squeleton auto wind module

Need to do,
Barrel
Chrono bridge
Barrel bridge

And after finishing all of them, and then test the movement

Remaining too much on upper bridge so have made some modifications

Now it’s a good squeleton auto wind module

Now I am sure I will succeed this built, have the good tools, improved my knowledge and skills, so is just a question of time.

Mainplate and train wheels bridge were the most “easy”, balance bridge really hard, and auto wind near nightmare, due to size and all jewels.

Barrel bridge and chrono bridge should be easy, but racket wheel and barrel should be hard too.

Once all parts finished, will check each one to be sure they are clean, and after assembly and check if movement working perfectly, this will be the coolest moment of this built.

Sure bro, will post on tomorrow tools I use for this work, but first of all you have to know perfectly the movement you’re going mod, in this case, 4130, that I perfectly know.
