I don't like the thickness of the $500 version. 18.5mm thick on a 42mm is very top heavy.

Yep, but there's actually a convex glass, so maybe it will look smaller in really life?

I was hoping that $500 is a typo, but it's not. But maybe if no one will buy them for that price they will soon get on sale?

Just asked Ryan. It is faux on right sub dial but the date is not sunken, the dial depth has cover date wheel.
