Hi guys,

actually I am thinking about a Speedmaster 57, white dial. I bought my first two reps from td after being advised here in the forum. Everything was ok.

Now I had a look at the Omega website and realized that there eis only one model with white dial and blue pointers. But when I have a look for example at
https://puretime03.com/watch-brands...on-ss-bracelet-a9300-black-balance-wheel.html

I see that there is a complete different model which is not listed at the official site. I know that often reps are designed different than gens but with TD I usually thought that they have a close eye on that...

Do you have any recommendation for buying a speedy 57? Would be very much appreciated, thank you!

All TDs sell the same models basically so choose a TD and ask, this particular rep model has many tells, case is too big, subdial spacing its incorrect, incorrect fonts and so on, there are way better Omega reps than this one, if you are ok with all this, just pick up a TD and order.

I have gen Omega speedmaster which has 3 variants of the same dial. The difference is that the numbers on the subdials are rotated in different ways. Omega are a brand that make thousands of watches, dials, colours, they turnover different watches each season. It would be difficult for 99.99% of people to tell whether a rep was made the same as gen, or a slight variant of.

Many thanks for this Information, really helpful. In this case I will go for another model I think. Which Omega has less tells, what would you recommend?

Well yes, I see what you mean. I have done a little more research and I understand what you mean. They have a lot! of different design, that is true.

LMPO or CrPO as first choice, Plofrof second then Spectre or 300 those are very good quality reps, all reps have tells but this ones are scarely close to their gens (lmpo and ploprof are out of stock often times so be patient, CrPO its been on sale with most TDs, read about this reps and pick a model, check you wrist with 42 and 45 models in awatch store to know what size likes you the most, good luck.
