That's what I'm thinking. It's funny because Gandolfini did an interview saying he couldn't take playing Tony anymore and wanted to put the character behind him for good. Then Van Sant was quoted to say that if they were to do a movie it would have to be a prequel. This could have all been part of the plan to through people off. Who knows. Chase made us all watch. He was a master at that. And so it continues. One way or another.
