I appreciate what you're saying, Roger. However, all those watches you listed have Swiss movements in them that go for, what, $300+ just for the movement, in the cheapest (2893-2) to ~$500 (7753). It'll be a cold day in hell when I pay $1K for an A6497 based rep, white gold bridges or not. Just my $.02 Doesn't mean I'm right or that people who do buy are wrong...
