Here's a few from the almost 300 we took...weather wasn't ideal, but we got some decent shots anyway. I'm in the white, my buddy Sam is in the red. Mod list for either car, just ask. I kept them small so they load fast, but high-res shots available if anyone wants them :D

Pedo bear FTW !!!! I never asked how old you are, but I'm assuming very young. You're still in the sticker phase :)

27, actually. I always kept it super clean with my other cars...coming from the BMW scene where stickers will get you lynch'd haha. Jumping into the VW community has taught me you don't have to take modding so very seriously. So this car is clean with some swagger...all of the exterior mods except for the rear wing are OE euro VW parts from various golf models: Golf GT front end, TDI rear bumper, Audi A6 Sport wheels, etc. The car is very OEM+ all told.

Any of you guys have experience with 360 forged wheels?

I've heard of them but never seen any in person or owned any, so I can't speak to build quality/finish/durability/etc.

For multipiece wheels that are currently in production, I tend to stick with the bigger names: BBS, IntroForged, Rotiform, HRE, CCW. Strong, light, and classic styles.

the reason i ask is because i got a set of 22's for my ml63 and there real pieces of crap. paid 9k for the set with tires and 2 of them are bent beyond repair. i contacted the company and they sent me replacement inner lips but those bent aswell..my truck has air suspension with a lowering module so that might be why i keep bending the rims but the clowns at the comp actually had the gaull to tell me that they used cheaper grade aluminum to build the inner lip. would you happen to know if i would be able to fit inner parts from another manufacturer like HRE or any other?

hmmm...not really sure. I don't think that a lowering module could be the culprit at all...I mean, that module lowers it what? 2-3" max? Barely enough to throw off your alignment...plus that would stress the suspension and not the wheels if anything. Are they 3-piece wheels (lip, face, inner barrel) and they're sending you new barrels? Are they forged? Either way that's disheartening for such a high-dollar product....especially if they're admitting to you that they're cheaping out on materials.

I'm not sure you can source new inners...especially in a larger diameter like that. I'd phone up any of the companies I listed...all of theirs are all custom-built so they might be able to do it (for a price, of course). Personally I'd get rid of the offending set of wheels for whatever I could get them for and put some HRE 944R or 948R's on it. Warranty too, so if it ever bends you'll have nothing to worry about.

the problem is I live in pothole capitol of the world so since its lowered and its putting stress on the suspenson, its the mag that ends up taking a beating. they told me they would keep sending me inners for aslong as i need them but its a pain in the rear cause everytime i bend a rim my truck is parked for 3 weeks just waiting for a replacement. i was actually looking to get the hre 998r's i had the 944's on my old range rover and they were awsome.

You should ask for a whole spare wheel sent to you for your trouble, so your truck isn't out of commission while you're waiting for a wheel to get put back together. Either than or you replace the barrel yourself...not that hard, just need to be careful re-sealing it so it doesn't leak.
