Trusty is known for false information on movements from time to time - no wonder when it comes to the amount of watches like our TDs upload every month...

It is obviously a 9015 with modified bridges. You can clearly tell by the position of the balance wheel and the gears, that are actually all working not like on some deco plates.

And i think GF did a beautiful job with this modification. PF screws their 324 SC clone for their nautilus totally up regarding the geneva stripes and engravings. but GF's "Tudor clone" looks decent.

What a shame it is hidden underneath a closed case back haha.

Thanks.

Just got my QC, that was a damn long wait!

What do you think so far and have you accepted it. Of course the real tell is when you get it in hand. I'd be interested to see any QCs you think are worthwhile mate, no reason not to post them as educational for members on a new model.

my buddy Andy,

I can make a detailed reply

To be honest with you, I have never been a QC nerd, and I have always accepted from the day I joined RW and discovered those high-end reps, that I would also accept their flaws and not search for perfection

You know better than anyone else that I was begging for this SOH2 model to be repped since September 2017 and I did not wait long before going GEN, choosing the brown dial.

Still, I was very happy to see the release last month and went for the blue dial. The wait until release was long, so was the wait between my order and my QC. Regarding my QC pics, I can see a non-centered date wheel (5 being too much to the left)

What else? Well, my bezel markers don't seem perfectly aligned with the dial markers at 3 and 9...So what should I do? Reject it and hope for a better one? I have given up on that. I might get another issue on the next one so I will live with those small details nobody will pick up on my wrist.

Who knows? Maybe my TD got a watch that was rejected by other TD's before. I might have to wait another 2 weeks to get another one or wait until next batch. Those kinds of issues are too common on reps so I will go on with it

When I want perfection, I just wear my gen :)

Next, I want to compare the blue dial with my gen but my gen is SOH1 not SOH2. I would need to assume that blue tone and reflections are exactly the same on Gen SOH1 vs GEN SOH2...

I think the bezel/hour marker alignment is just an angle problem of the photo.

If you want to - i think the DW could be easily fixed as it is an overlay and could be centered (i assume).

But you are totally right, you already got your gen so - seeking the perfection in our beloved high end reps would be too much haha

Hi M

Thanks for posting and don't worry about the Bezel markers at 3 and 9, they only look misaligned because the watch is tilted towards you from the 12 position, as you can see by the rehaut at 6 which isn't visible at 12. There are a couple of dates on my gen SOH which aren't perfect either so again not something to worry about. All in all the colour looks pretty good and in the reviews of the gen blue SOH2 I've read, they indicate that Breitling haven't really changed the properties of the dial from the SOH and the SOH 2, so they should be comparable. The lume dots are never perfectly centred on the reps compared to the gen and nobody should be rejecting a watch because of that and that's invisible on the wrist and you need to be about 6 inches away when its off the wrist to spot that anyway.

So that looks to me like you've got a good one and overall my impression is that it looks like a potential super rep, if the dial reflects like your gen blue when you get it. Enjoy it mate and I look forward to seeing it on the wrist.

Just asked Lucy if there was a 46mm SOH2 coming out and she said she will ask GF tomorrow, but thinks they may stick with the 42mm as its a much more popular size in China :bang:

and another thing is - that i cant imagine GF to replicate a watch without the gen sample as they always deliver only superior reps with the Gen in hand for a dissection.

Not good news from Lucy as follows: 'GF's boss replied me just now, they told me they won't make 46mm of it now.' Thought it might be the case as the gen they repped from ws the 42mm. Let's hope they get a gen of the 46 but given the size and the popularity of 42mm in China, I'm not holding my breath.

I was looking forward to the 46mm. GF is concerned they would not sell enough of a 46mm watch. The forums represent only a small portion of the market when compared to the China market. I suspect that is why nobody has made a Super Avenger since H Factory made their last production run years ago. I will have to ask my TD if the China market leans toward the lower priced reps. With all the time I spend in China, I never see any good Reps worn by the locals. I know a seller at Commerical City the sells Reps but nothing I would buy. They are low end and gaudy or just plain FUGLY.
