It seriously amazes me what people will expect of a replica watch. I don't understand how TD's have the patience to deal with these folks. There can't possibly be enough profit in the business to warrant the aggrevation.
i agree! ive been pretty lenient recently with my QCs. as long as there isn't a lume blob where its not suppose to be and i requested a Rubber Strap but my QC is showing a leather, thats when I deny it.
Sometimes they tripping, but if you see it from the point that you are buying a 300€ watch and the lume is ****** up you should have the ability to see that and ask for replace. If it would be a Seiko i would do the same. Also if the ability is given to ask some professionals then why not? Maybe they should open another Forum just for QC.

If you see something wrong with the watch and you know it's not common to that model then you have every right to tell that to the dealer and reject it, but if you can't find anything wrong with the watch and looks OK to you, why the hell would you post pictures here trying to nitpick every microscopic flaw that it may have. When you buy a gen Seiko do you run around the store with it asking everybody if it looks OK to them?
No, but if someone will ask me for a second pair of eyes i have nothing against it. If there was a extra forum for QC pictures i would visit it for the watch i want to buy in the future. Makes you horny for the watch and you learn about the commonest flaws.

It'ridiculous. Macro shots of lume is not what QC photos are for. All these reps have flaws. Put a Seiko under that same scrutiny. You'll find flaws. If you are going to wear your watch and worry about the lume quality under a microscope, I suggest you get out of collecting watches all together. Specially not reps.
yea but if you get your watch and a screw is missing you bite you ars that you have not postet a QC here before...

A missing screw is a legit issue. I do not post QC pics. If I have an question, I ask the TD directly. But I'll be damned if I bother them with an issue that is only seen under a loupe. I'm sure they appreciate folks who don't waste their time.
It's common sense. Is that too much to ask ? TD's do an exxcellent job as it is providing clear pictures. Better than most sellers do on the FS section. But it's been repeated many times here, what those pics are for.

I agree, some people go OTT, to be honest it depends who the dealer is - i'd never trust any of the big dealers enough to not send me QC pics however for example Ryan i would be completely happy currently to let him do the QC and not worry i'll end up with a watch without a crystal haha.
PS. i'd love if someone made a high quality video of this watch on their wrist.. still in need of a shove before jumping on the diver bandwagon!
I ordered a few watches from Ryan. One of the ones I asked him for, he qc'ed himself three different times. He finally told me he couldn't find an acceptable one to sell me. The other ones, were spot on. You are free to pick your TD. I honestly have not had a better experience with anyone. I hope he continues to be that type of outstanding dealer.
All I can tell you is that the 3.5 Diver is one of the 3 best out of the box reps I have ever owned. Anyone that knows me, is aware of the large quantity of watches that have run through my watchbox. Take the dive ! :cheers:

It's not so much how good the quality of rep is.. i get that, just more trying to convince myself i like it :/
